We had “Lunch time seminar in English” at the World Plaza on Mar. 27. Hana-san, CIR of Saga Prefecture Government International Affairs Division, explained to us about “Things to Do during Spring Break” in British Columbia, Canada.

The Sea to Sky Highway is the name given to a section of Highway 99, north of Vancouver. The Sea to Sky Highway is frequently rated up there as one of the most beautiful stretches of road in the world.



The Vancouver Aquarium is a self-supporting, non-profit society dedicated to effecting the conservation of aquatic life through display, communication, public programming and education, research and direct action.



Honeybee Centre is a commercial honey farm and visitor attraction located in the agricultural centre of Surrey, British Columbia.



Established in 1983, the Vancouver Police Historical Society is an independent non-profit organization and registered charity. An elected volunteer Board of Directors directs the museum’s operations.

Capilano Salmon Hatchery was built below Cleveland Dam in order to rear and release the diminishing stock of both Coho Salmon and Steelhead Trout. The hatchery is an ideal environment for visitors to learn about the lifecycle of salmon. Over 400,000 visitors annually, both local and international, visit the public viewing area at the Capilano Hatchery.



Western Canada’s largest and best-loved Celtic festival returns to downtown Vancouver from March 14 to 18, 2012 plus, a special pre-festival event on March 10th. For six days, Celtic roots will again rock the city with an extraordinary range of almost 70 free and ticketed events.
