Happy halloween !!
Hi!
We had “Lunch time seminar in English” at the World Plaza on Oct. 18. Hana-san, CIR of Saga Prefecture Government International Affairs Division, explained us about Halloween in Canada.

Did you know that Halloween is a more than 2000-year-old tradition? Where do you think the tradition of Halloween started? The answer is " Ancient Irish/British custom."

The children sang this song and walked around the streets in the ancient day of Halloween.
Soul! Soul! for an apple or two!
If you have no apples, pears will do.
If you have no pears, money will do.
If you have no money, God bless you!

This is Jack-O’-Lantern.

This is "Halloween Costumes" in Saga!

These are cute Elvis Presley and baby Lobster.

These are baby Hamburger, Norimaki and Taco.

All of the members were enjoying Hana-san's story!!

Lunch Time Seminar is held each Tuesday from 12:15 to 13:00 at World Plaza. Mr. Marcos Kengo Shinozaki will introduce Brazil to us on Oct. 25. If you attend the Seminar for the first time, please make a reservation in advance.
